We are planning to upgrade mail.arminco.com and arminco.com servers this weekend (24-25 of April, 2010).
POP3 users may receive all previously read and not deleted messages from the server as new ones. To avoid this, users should opt to not leave mail on server. Please, deactivate 'Leave messages on the server' in your mail client program before this weekend.
You can enable it again later if you really need it.
Customers using IMAP and/or webmail will not experience any problem.

- What is login?
Login is the same thing as username.
When choosing a login, remember that your ARMINCO email address is going to be login@arminco.com To Top
- What is the max length for username & password?
The username can be 2 to 12 characters. Only characters allowed are lowercase latin, all digit and the underscore.

- What number should I dial to connect to the Internet?

- How can I check my access stats?
To check your dialup access stats, please visit http://www.arminco.com/account/.
Press 'Yes' to accept the temporary certificate, then choose your language.
On the next page, select "Check Time and Traffic Usage", then enter your username, password and choose the date you want to see stats for.

- I have lost my password, how can I recover it?
If you have lost your password, the only way to reset it is to visit our office with any document that certifies your identity.

- Is it possible to use the same account simultaneously by several people?
Nope. Only one simultaneous connection per username is accepted. To Top
- I can't access http://www.arminco.com/account/ page
Make sure that your browser's proxy settings are correct.
For Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections.
Find your Arminco dialup connection, f.e. 'Arminco' and click the 'Settings' button.
In the opened window, press the 'Advanced' button.
Make sure that only HTTP and FTP fields have 'proxy.aic.net'. The rest should be empty.
In the bottom, add '*.arminco.com' to the 'Exceptions' field.
Close the opened settings windows by clicking the 'OK' button on each one. To Top
- I have checked my access stats and noticed an entry with a strange date. I am sure that I haven't used my account during that timeframe and haven't shared my password with anyone.
You need to change your password as soon as possible.
There is a possibility that your computer is infected by a trojan horse virus that has sent your username and password to the attacker, and he is using your account.
